Krystle Newton

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Krystle Newton was born and raised in Valley, AL where she still lives with her husband, 2 children, dogs and cats. From a very early age, the brain and how it works fascinated her and so she chose mental health as her career. After finishing college, Krystle worked for a small non-profit in Columbus, GA where she developed a family engagement program to help families become closer with each other and helped the children of those families succeed even more. Later on, that same program was used by Alabama DHR for parenting classes. In 2021, Krystle decided to open a private practice in Valley due to the lack of mental health care in the area but she continues to see clients all over the state of Alabama and Florida via telehealth as well. Krystle believes that therapy does not have to feel clinical. Sometimes, it can even be fun. That's why she tries to make therapy a place where all of her clients feel heard, safe, and validated in session. In her spare time, Krystle enjoys anything Disney related, cooking/baking, and reading. Her favorite thing is to spend time with her family.
